Zakat Aid for Foreign Converts
MCAS offers Zakat Aid to foreign converts facing financial adversity.
Eligibility Criteria:
- A foreign Muslim convert residing in Singapore with a valid Work Permit, S-Pass or Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP)
- Experiencing financial challenges due to:
- Medical bills,
- Unemployment,
- Household income of $1,900 or less, with a per capita income of less than $400.
Documents required:
- Financial Assistance Application form (with clear proof of income & expenditure)
- Valid Work Permit, S-Pass or Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP)
- Proof of Conversion to Islam (MUIS Conversion Card or Foreign Conversion Certificate)
- Supporting documents for specific hardship category (eg: medical bills)
