A Guide to Parenting in Islam: Addressing Adolescence

With the increasing complexity of modern life and often challenging social environment, it can be daunting for Muslim parents to raise their children within an Islamic ethos. These issues become more acute in the adolescent years when young people may feel conflicted between the value-rich home environment and more liberal world beyond. In order for our young people to become good human beings, citizens and Muslims of tomorrow, we must realize that effective parenting and a stable home environment are the starting points.
